Water on the moon
They found water on the moon by shooting a missile/rocket/whatever at it.
I imagine the conversation about this idea went something like this:
NASA PM: dudes, we gotta figure out if there is water on the moon
NASA Engineer: uhm. let’s shoot a missile at it
NASA PM:STFU
